EVANGELISM
The name “Harvesters Evangelistic Ministry” speaks loudly about the focus of the Church. Right from its emergence, the ministry began evangelism programs. Under the leadership of Pastor Ola, the ministry embarked on crusades for some churches. The C.A.C was the greatest beneficiary. Crusades were held at Sefwi Bekwai, Cape Coast and Bibiani. Koforidua and Tamale and many other towns were also hit with crusades. Rev. Alfred Nyamekye of House of Faith Ministries was one of the speakers at these crusades. Street evangelism was not left out.
The youth were the architects of this program. The youth moved from one street to the other every Saturday during the day. They would hop from a busy – area to another busy – area ministering in songs led by the choir and preaching salvation messages. Competitions in soul-winning were also organized to encourage the youth in this program. Whoever won more souls in a month was awarded a shield or trophy. Sister Vida Banieh was outstanding in this competition for she won the trophy many times. The auxiliary groups, women’s and the men’s fellowships, were no exception in the soul winning programs particularly in the organization of crusades.
